-instead of trying to explain somethings existence try explaining how we have been set up and why.
-"intentional states":when people percieve, think, believe, and so on...the percept, thought, or belief is called the "intentional object".
-ask myself:
1.what is the actual brain activity that takes place when perceiving something?
2.why does it seem so private?
3.how is this trick done?
4.what is the evolutionary advantage of our having these experiences?
-we experience "sentition" in response to sensory stimulation (which is like an inner grimace or smile). we then experience the "sentition" as a sensation when we form an inner picture.
-drawing ideas:show 2 ways of viewing conciousness.
-feedback loops in the sensory areas of the brain (should seem to ave immaterial qualities).
-how sentition is personalized with each individual. might seem insignificant when being viewed from the outside.
-different "work benches" in relation to different peoples personalized sentition.
-what is the role of phenomenal conciousness?
-how does it change world view? what beliefs flow from it? (simply for 'joie de vivre'?)
-new white blood cell found that 90% of veered left in body. (can cells tell left from right?)
-left side of heart is larger.
-right lung is larger
-body in a-symmetry
